As a teacher who used the Montessori method for teaching preschool children both in Nagoya and at Fuji Youchien in Tachikawa, I can say that without a doubt, children are the most incredible learners. They can learn anything, and we absolutely don’t need to teach them very much before they figure it out on their own.

Sugata Mitra talks here about SOLE, his idea of a cloud based learning platform where we simply raise questions that children want to learn about. Just tell them the name of the problem and let them use the internet to find the answers they seek.
